What’s the difference between MariaDB and MySQL?

Staff member
We can say there is no difference. When MySQL was bought by well-known database company Oracle, developers announced that they will be going further with the Project under the MariaDB name.

In MariaDB you can use MySQL commands and send queries in the same fashion. You can decide which one to use after comparing them and assessing their performance. You can use the links below to learn more about them.
